Friday night was great. A huge thanks to all the friendly folks who showed up to support an eclectic night of music and community. Really loving the idea of bringing together people in unconventional ways. Its a medium that allows people to be themselves and act accordingly. Hopefully we can host more of these events in the near future

Monsters have feelings too....

Look.... Sometimes you just can't hold it all inside. You have to just let it all out. These monster friends of mine have shown me this. These guys missed the "L" back to Brooklyn by mere seconds, and now they have to wait for 33 minutes till the next one shows up. They were nice enough once you got them talking.

George(bottom right), just got accepted to NYU to study Biology. He likes baby Tigers. Eric(top left), is his bud from CT. He's just down for the weekend to have a "rockin" time. Sara(not pictured), is Eric's girlfriend. And she hates it when he talks about CT like he's embarrassed he lives there. "He loves his job at the Key Foods", according to her. I'm not so convinced. He also smelled like corn dogs. Felix(middle), just jumped in the picture. No one knew that guy. He sure did think Nate Robinson was the next Allen Iverson, if you know what I mean?

Scene 13: Justin and Geoff hanging out in Justin's apartment.

The only sound is the babbling brook running through the corner. The chandelier hangs in the middle of the room throwing sparkling points of light all over its contents. Geoff always seems to notice the NBADL awards Justin he has won over the years:
"Defensive Player of the Year 02, 03, 06, 08", "Comeback player of the Year 06"
"6th Man of the Year 08, 09"
"Western Division Champion 03, 06, 07"
"Eastern Division Champion 09"

They sit on the mantel above the 6 ft tall Gas fireplace(turned on low). The deep red, satin window treatments wave with the draft of the apartment. They always remind Geoff of his trip to Nepal back in 2003(you know what I'm talking about). The grizzly bear rug feels comfortable between Geoff's toes. He continuously rubs his feet all over the area below the daybed upon which he sits.

As Edmund(the butler) brings Geoff another Pabst, a spark flies between them. And Geoff, being scared of electricity, drops the beer on the bear(the fourth he's dropped now).

Geoff: Crap! Sorry.....I dropped my beer on the bear.

Justin: .........

Edmund just leans down and picks up the glass, then continues to the fireplace and puts the Comeback Player of the Year upright again. Back to the kitchen.

Geoff: So... what's going on?

Justin: mmeh?

G: Ok......well......wanna watch The Cutting Edge?

Justin walks over and knocks the Comeback Player of the Year award over. He's still pissed about the cheap shot The "Birdman" gave him back in the 03 championship game. Out for 2 years.

J: ...

G: Wanna play Apples to Apples?

J: ..... (Head shake, with lip purse)

G: ..... (continues rubbing of feet on the bear)

J: ......

G: ...... uh......

Edmund comes back into the room with a beer and hands it to Geoff.....sparks.........beer on bear...

J: ........

G: Well...... how about some Pirates Dice?

J: YYYaaaaaaahhhrrrrggggggghhhhhhh!!!!!! You be challenging the champeen of the Di!... Watcha wanna wager you dirty barnacle?

G: Jesus!...well...um.....how about my new co..(Justin interrupts)..

J: I wager me digs. Yahrgh.

G: Ok. That was unexpected. Let's do this.

45 seconds later Geoff is smoking his pipe in his new hot tub, and Justin is gathering his pet Koi from the pond into his messenger bag.

G: Hey....you wanna watch The Cutting Edge now?
